Hello Fashionistas! So sorry for my hiatus, but while you all have been soaking up the sun during spring break I have been tirelessly working on my thesis! This boho layered look was perfect for a stroll around Georgetown. The UO dress has an awesome ombre effect, but since it is still chilly in DC I layered it with a comfy knit. I threw on my floppy hat for pure drama! What did you where during your spring break? bisou bisou

DC Street Style

Hanging out on the steps of the National Portrait Gallery sporting my version of DC street style with a grey beanie, over-sized DBA sweatshirt, camo pants, and combat boots. I have been dying to get this sweatshirt from one of my all time favorite bloggers Sincerely, Jules! Her blog inspired me to follow my passion for fashion and start my very own style blog. The paramount message "Dream Believe Achieve" invokes confidence and self-motivation! I added the neon collar just to add a piece of flair to this laid back, tomboyish look!

I found myself in the Robert and Arlene Kogod Courtyard which has this awesome reflection pool and an array of botanical flowers! It really is a spectacular gem in the middle of the museum.
{Beanie: Target} {Glasses: Ray-Ban Caribbean Avana Frames} {Bali Collar Necklace: Nasty Gal} {Sweatshirt: Sincerely, Jules} {Pants: Zara} {Boots: Steve Madden}  I hope you enjoyed the more relaxed street style I put together! As always comments, questions, and love are all welcome! Bisou bisou <3>

Quilted Leather and Plaid

Good Morning World! I am totally into the plaid revival and have been wearing it in a more edgy "bad girl" type of way. I paired my plaid with quilted faux leather pieces, a spiked bracelet, and a red suede sneaker wedge (for a pop of color). I am a complete girly-girl and a part from my converses I do not really delve into the sneaker head thing. Still, I am always up for trying new trends and figured if I am going to wear a sneaker at least let it have a wedged heel! This edgy, yet relaxed outfit was perfect for a night out bowling with friends. How have you been rocking your plaid?
I LOVE all of the zippers in my faux leather! It lends for a tough, but sexy biker feel!

Playing with my MAC Eye Kohl pencil in Blooz to make those baby browns pop! Also, donning Stila Lip Glaze in Black Cherry just to add a little umph!

{Jacket & Pants: ZARA} {Top & Bracelet: The twisted plaid blouse is from the brand Nameless, but was purchased at Nasty Gal} {Shoes: Ash Bowie Wedge Sneaker} Hope you enjoyed the look! Until next time! bisou bisou
